A wise mentor of mine once told me that he was the most successful in business at times when he was in the flow. Welcoming new relationships, keeping in touch with old relationships, reaching out to friends and clients to learn about new members of their family or new life events. Being in the flow connects you with what is happening in your sphere of influence and makes it natural for your to reach out to people who know other people who can help you grow your business.

I look back over patterns in my life when I was continued to do the same old things but expected different results. I felt frustrated, bewildered, not sure of what my next step should be. But when I am in the flow, I am open to new experiences, new challenges. I can be patient until the right time for change comes along, in alignment with the flow of life.

Nature has a flow, the changing of the seasons, the summer winds and rains that bring fresh air and new life;  hot summer sun sizzling with temptations to just float on my raft and be one with the sunshine as it sparkles on my face. To take the time to listen to the fountains surrounding pools of water as I am  at one with what it means to feel transquil but sill alive.

When I try to control the flow, events and people control me. But if I let go and allow myself the space to listen to my own heart, that inner voice always knows when it is time to propel myself forward and when it is time to just let go and just be. May you be in the flow of life today.
